Site Prep

We grade and prep the pad so the home has a stable, level base to sit on from the start. Common Questions

What’s the difference between site prep and anchoring?

Site prep is what happens to the ground before the home is set — grading, compaction, and drainage. Anchoring is what secures the home to the ground after it’s in place. Both matter, and skipping either one causes problems later.

Do I need new anchoring if I’m just re-leveling an existing home?

Sometimes. If the anchoring is old, corroded, or wasn’t installed to current standards, we’ll flag it during the assessment and let you know if it needs updating.

What wind zone requirements apply to my home?

It depends on your location and the home’s classification. We handle that assessment as part of the anchoring job, so you don’t have to figure out the code yourself.

Can bad site prep cause problems even if the anchoring is done right?
